This talk will explore HELP Forsikring's journey of implementing Crossplane as a self-service backend for our development teams. Crossplane has proven to be a swift and productive tool, enabling rapid development and deployment. However, this journey has been challenging, mainly due to occasional gaps in available information and feedback from failing composite parts.

We will discuss why we chose Crossplane over other tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or creating an operator, highlighting Crossplane's benefits in speeding up our workflow. Through our experience, we'll share insights into both the productive aspects and the obstacles we faced, ultimately showcasing how Crossplane has empowered our developers and created a streamlined path for application deployment.
